  • Propelled T-Mobile from regional me-too to national #4 in one of the world’s most competitive categories, with a fraction of the share of voice of the Top 3
  • Led strategy on the resurrection of Jack in the Box, saving it from bankruptcy and rocketing its share price from $3 to currently over $100, with no increase in media budget

Consulting Spotlight

Steve considers himself the crossbar in CMO Consulting Group’s letter T. His brand-building career covers a lot a of ground, as a marketing professional, agency leader and consultant, and complements the deep vertical operational experience of his partners.

As a consultant Steve has helped fine-tune a telecommunications giant’s communications strategy and sharpened a city search brand’s website UX and UI. He has repositioned several famous-but-flagging beverage brands and built a virtual ad agency from scratch for a health care giant.

Steve helped reposition reverse mortgages and other retiree financial tools to a skeptical audience, in the process gently steering the parent company away from borrowed interest celebrity communications.

In addition, Steve helped steer consumers towards more energy-efficient TVs and computers and assisted at the birth of a couple of sustainable food companies.
